The secret belly of J’ara Ami

Well well well… its finally that time to get my act together and rid myself of this depressing stomuch of mine!!! Ever since i was about 12years old I’ve wanted to have a four pack and i started holding in my belly pretending i had one lool. I did this so much it actually became a habit and now i hold it in naturally by force of habit… Most people who know me or have seen me in real life think i’m lying when i say i have a big belly because they’ve never seen it *covers face*.

This is the Illusion… (Note: No photoshop, that is just me holding my belly in)

This is the REALITY! (Note: again NOT PHOTOSHOPPED and NOT pushed out… this is my real life belly *sigh*)

I’ve decided to start a journey towards my four pack goal and document it here on my blog. Firstly for the next two months my diet is going to be strictly  vegetables, fruits and water!!! I will reward myself at the end of each week with a food treat of my choice, if i complete the week successfully. That treat can either be a nice dessert or a packet of crisps with a chocolate bar. Strictly no junk food and NO alcohol *covers face again*!!

So below is what my fridge looks like right now… just under £20 worth of shopping, this might be a bit too much for one person for a week lool, i got excited!! But we’ll see how long it lasts with out going off. Trial and Error hey…

In my fridge this week are the following items: Green Banana, Plantain, Carrots, Bell Peppers, Scotch Bonnet Peppers, Onions, Garlic, Baby Tomatoes, Cabbage, Parsnips, Corn on the Cob, Okra, Spinach, Lettuce, Broccoli, Apples, Oranges, Mango’s, Melon and Strawberries. I also added some baby potato’s to the fridge yesterday; potato’s are also a vegetable and a way for me to have some carbohydrate in me once or twice a week (I don’t think its good to have NO carbs at all).

Yesterday this was my dinner lol

For breakfast i had an orange and an apple and for lunch i had a salad from Pret (Note: i didn’t use the extra salad dressing)

I must say the truth, i started this detox/diet on Monday but i failed up until Wednesday, so NO treat for me at the end of the week *sigh*, however I’m positive, yesterday was a great day and today will be great too!

From next week i will be introducing at least 30mins of cardio 5 days a week. I will also be going to see a specialist about possibly adding vitamin supplements to my diet as well; from advice given… removing meat from your diet can possibly cause you to lack certain vital vitamins – i dont wanna be fainting in the streets or have crazy health problems for the sake of a flat belly lool.

Be sure to follow me on my journey! Your support would be much appreciated!!
