I tend to have one pair of boots I wear on a regular basis that doesn’t have a high heel, I guess you could say this is my idea of flat shoes… never really been the biggest fan of flat pumps, dolly shoes or the like, although I have owned a few pairs (for practicality’s sake, I have a pair downstairs).
There are a few boots I currently have my eye’s on, they all seem to have big buckles, oh and obviously they are all black. Who would have guessed i’d be a buckle lover? Not me, a ton of metal surrounded by all black can come across a bit ‘Kelly Osbourne meets the Grim Reaper’ – not the look i’m going for – worn correctly though, these square chunks are edgy and eye catching.
It is no surprise, during my rummage through the aisles of Primark, originally looking for thermal socks, these lil booties caught my eye. At £10 on sale, the decision to purchase was easy; although, hmmm, I detect they have some attitude and may start a war in my bedroom… we’ll have to see.
The oldest item in my closet with buckles, is the satchel. I picked it up some years ago from the same store (you can really find some gems in that place if you search), let us hope she doesn’t get jealous and will help buckle bootie fit right in.
